SWISS MADE FURNITURE

Seitz furniture begins with familiar forms, places and traditions. Each family takes a different starting point, from rural furniture typologies and regional craft to the architecture of Zürich. Made locally in Switzerland, the pieces share an emphasis on material, construction and longevity.

Helm

Helm is a seating family brimming with architectural references from Zürich’s iconic Helmhaus. Its deep, low timber frame establishes a relaxed lounge profile, with a distinctive spindled back equally at home against a wall or in the center of any room.

Limmat

The tiered cross braces of the Limmat occasional tables reflect an architectural series of viaducts connecting Zürich’s city center over the namesake river. The circular tabletop, with its tapering edge, rests upon a base that embraces distinct views at every turn.

Appenzeller

Developed in collaboration with Appenzeller Gurt, the Appenzeller family honors the heritage of alpine saddlery. Proportions follow a typology of traditional Rhine Valley furniture, with brass fittings distilled into functional details that balance ornament with restraint.

Chalet

Chalet seating revisits a Swiss staple, the Stabelle. Its seat is held together by four hand-turned legs and strong dovetail joinery. The outward angle of the legs provides greater stability under weight, relying on the interplay of forces for lasting strength and durability.
